Session 2: Nutrition and microbiota

We started the session with a very fun dynamic, the kind of icebreakers we like, in which the participants had to decide what they considered to be the 10 commandments to lead a healthy life. Among the many proposals, we have selected the 10 that were repeated the most in all the groups.

1. Preserve mental health, emotional balance and manage stress.

2. Eat bacteria (probiotics).

3. Exercise the mind keeping it always active.

4. Balanced diet prioritizing by plant foods.

5. Enjoy free time and take time for yourself.

6. Have a good hydration.

7. Get enough and good sleep, 8 hours.

8. Move daily and play sports.

9. Have an active and healthy social life, avoiding toxic relationships.

10. Maintain safe sex.

On the other hand, we also present to our participants the bacteria in our gut, which are the most abundant and which food group their presence is related to.
